This statement is so true and that’s why I hate, among other things, how men supposedly “celebrate” (or whatever it is they do) women’s day, by idolizing women, thanking for our existence in their lives. I’m not here to make your life better, I’m to live it however the fuck I want to.

Usually, in my experience, when a man says he “loves” women as a whole and says he “worships” them, he has a bad case of Nice Guy Syndrome and thinks he needs a gold star on his shirt and a fucking cookie. What does that even fucking mean? “NO I’M NOT SEXIST MY BEST FRIEND IS A GIRL AND I WORSHIP WOMEN.” Worship likely means, “I really pay attention to women when it’s convenient for me, because I think there is a slight chance of them having sex with me if I do so.” Please stop.
